My client is hiring two Digital Workplace / UC Engineers to join a busy engineering team within a highly regulated financial services environment. One permanent role and one day-rate contract - you must have strong communications and compliance focus.
The immediate need is a high-profile office relocation, with a significant body of work around Cisco communications and AV infrastructure. The contract hire will focus primarily on the office move and associated communications projects, while the permanent hire will take broader, long-term ownership across the wider platform (as well as contributing to the move).
The immediate priorities
This is a flagship programme with serious visibility across the business, so communications and compliance experience really matters. Key work includes:
- Cisco Unified Communications and AV projects
- Voice recording and communications compliance
- Office relocation activities
- Supporting communication platforms across multiple international offices
Compliance & communications
The business operates in a heavily regulated environment where all communications must be recorded to satisfy FCA regulations.
Experience with any of the following is a real bonus (but not essential): Red Box (voice recording), Luware (Teams / SaaS voice), and SteelEye (comms compliance).
The broader role (especially the permanent hire)
Over time this becomes a genuinely multi-skilled platform engineering role - someone happy wearing several hats rather than a single-domain specialist. That spans Microsoft infrastructure, Windows Server, communications platforms, cloud and AWS (as the cloud migration continues), and general infrastructure engineering.

Experience required:
Strong Microsoft Teams/ O365
Voice & UC experience - Cisco
Experience working in a heavily regulated/ FCA environment
