An exciting brand new opportunity has arisen for a senior events leader to join a global organisation operating across the financial and investment sector. This is a growth role, not replacement and an exciting time to join the business.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering a large-scale EMEA events strategy across multiple markets, audiences and business functions.
What my client is looking for:
• Significant senior-level events leadership experience within a global corporate environment
• Strong background delivering large-scale, high end conferences, executive events and high-touch client experiences
• Experience operating across EMEA markets and managing multi-country programmes
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior executive level
• Highly organised with strong commercial, operational and strategic capability
• Comfortable managing complexity, fast-moving priorities and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience within financial services, professional services, investment, consulting or similarly corporate environments would be highly advantageous
The successful person will oversee a broad portfolio spanning flagship conferences, executive forums, hospitality programmes, internal leadership events and client engagement experiences.
We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with exceptional operational delivery. This role would suit an experienced Head of Events / Events Director / VP-level events professional who has operated within complex global organisations in-house and is confident working with senior stakeholders at executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and evolve the EMEA events strategy across a diverse portfolio of programmes and audiences
• Manage multiple concurrent event workstreams from concept through to execution
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders and leadership teams across the business
• Drive innovation, attendee experience and operational excellence across all events
• Oversee agency relationships, budgets, procurement and governance processes
• Ensure events align with wider business priorities, brand positioning and commercial objectives
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across internal departments and external suppliers
• Analyse performance, reporting and event ROI to continuously improve delivery and impact
• Manage high-profile, confidential and business-critical projects with precision and professionalism
