Senior Building Surveyor | South Essex| The "Director’s Right Hand"

Package: £65k – £75k (Negotiable) + Car Allowance + Performance Bonus + On-site parking & Hybrid working

I am currently representing one of the region's most respected multi-disciplinary consultancies. I’ve worked closely with the Partners here for years, and they are now looking for a Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) to act as the primary support to their Building Surveying Director.

This is a strategic hire. They're not just looking for a surveyor; they need a future leader who can lead high-level commissions and help mentor a talented junior team.

Key Highlights

• A sophisticated mix of Professional and Project services. You’ll be the lead on complex Dilapidations, PPMs, and Party Wall awards, while also acting as Contract Admin on commercial, healthcare, and public sector projects.
• You will lead your own commissions from inception to completion, with the full backing of a multi-disciplinary technical team.
• Because of their work in the defence and public sectors, their pipeline is exceptionally stable. You'll be joining a firm that is actively growing, not just "ticking over."

What you’ll bring:

• MRICS Qualification with at least 5 years PQE in a consultancy environment.
• You’re comfortable being the face of the firm, dealing directly with clients, and spotting commercial opportunities.
• Strong technical experience in both professional services (Dilaps/PPM) and specification/contract administration.
