We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a well run children’s residential home in Bradford. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team where the focus is on creating a safe, stable and nurturing environment for young people.

This role would suit someone with experience in children’s residential care, or someone from a similar background who is passionate about making a difference and being a positive role model.

What you will be doing

• Supporting young people with day to day routines, structure and activities

• Building positive, trusting relationships

• Promoting independence and emotional wellbeing

• Managing behaviours in a calm and consistent way

• Working as part of a close knit team to maintain a safe environment

• Keeping accurate records and following safeguarding procedures

What we are looking for

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable

• A calm, resilient and reliable approach

• Someone who leads by example and brings positive energy to the home

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Full UK driving licence is preferred
