Position: CAD Technical Estimator

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

Location: Ebbw Vale

Our client specialises in Structural Waterproofing and Ground Gas Protection is seeking an experienced Technical Estimator to join their growing team.

As a Technical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and management of tenders, producing accurate project specifications, and delivering site-specific CAD detailing. You will actively engage with clients, analyse quotations, and ensure compliance with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and build-up of tenders.
• Scrutinise tender documentation and analyse contract terms and conditions.
• Analyse quotations for compliance and best value.
• Obtain prices for non-standard materials and services.
• Review client conditions and determine specific requirements.
• Produce accurate project specifications and site-specific CAD drawings.
• Attend client meetings as required.
• Generate quotations and project proposals.
• Work within defined quality assurance procedures.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of CAD experience (essential).
• Background in quantity surveying (beneficial but not essential).
• CSSW qualification (beneficial but not essential).
• Organised, enthusiastic, and eager to develop within a growing company.
• A valid driving license (essential).
• GCSE Maths and English—C Grade or higher (essential).
