A fast-growing, nationally scaling business within the mobility and assistive equipment sector is seeking an Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in driving engineering efficiency, supplier performance, and operational control.

This is a key position sitting at the heart of operations, engineering, supply chain, and finance — ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven, high-impact environment.

As Operations Coordinator, you’ll ensure issues are resolved right first time, unnecessary costs are eliminated, and operational data flows accurately across systems. You’ll act as a central point of expertise, supporting teams with guidance, training, and structure while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing operational guidance to customer care, operations, and engineering teams on engineer deployment and escalation
  • Reducing unnecessary engineer call-outs through effective troubleshooting and decision frameworks
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of SOPs, playbooks, and escalation pathways
  • Acting as a key contact for suppliers, challenging warranty claims, defects, and sub-standard parts
  • Tracking supplier performance, fault trends, and recurring product issues
  • Recovering supplier credits and preventing cost leakage
  • Reviewing engineering invoices for accuracy and legitimacy
  • Maintaining accurate records for warranties, credits, chargebacks, and costs
  • Supporting coordination and performance tracking of field and workshop engineers
  • Monitoring KPIs such as first-time fix rate, repeat visits, repair times, and service NPS
  • Identifying inefficiencies and working with management to improve turnaround times

You’ll ideally have:

  • You’ll be confident, analytical, and comfortable operating across multiple departments, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience in an operations, coordination, or control-based role
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence challenging suppliers
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A calm, logical, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working with CRM, operational, or finance systems
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret trends and performance metrics
  • Genuine opportunity to influence processes and performance at scale
