Position:            Sales Manager (Sponsorship & Summits)

Location:           Newport (Office Based)


This is a high-impact leadership sales role with serious earning potential. The main responsibility of the Sales Manager will be revenue generation and revenue management of our UK office.


You’ll be responsible for driving sponsorship revenue across a portfolio of premium, executive-level events globally. This isn’t just about selling — it’s about owning the commercial success of multiple summits, leading from the front, and scaling a repeatable revenue engine.


Responsibilities:


·     Build, mentor, and motivate a team of Sponsorship Sales Executives.

·     Be a point of escalation for the sales team on new business and key renewals: participating in closing strategic opportunities on behalf of your team members.

·     Strong emphasis on developing and managing a key book of clients for your team.

·     Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders constantly explore cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

·     Review and optimize the sales infrastructure, including Event portfolio assignments, sales training, and sales processes.

·     Work closely with the Recruitment team to hire and develop sales teams across all divisions.

·     Identify and create new revenue generating projects across both existing and new portfolios.

·     Accurately manage and forecast sales pipeline.

·     Manage a continuous and consistent sales training program for the sponsorship sales teams in conjunction with the General Manager.

·     Ensure compliance with processes and sales tools such as CRM internal systems including Salesforce.

·     Performance management of Sales staff: Support and create individual development plans.

·     Manage weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reporting and roll-up forecasts.

·     Develop and leverage relationships with the Customer Success, Relationship Management and Event Operations teams.


Requirements:


·     At least 4+ years of experience in sales with a proven record of selling high level sponsorship media packages to C-suite.

·     At least 4 years+ of senior sales management experience, recruiting, developing, and managing sales teams.

·     A proven closer with strong relationship building skills.

·     Initiative-taking, energetic, self-starter looking to have a significant impact on business success and an all-hands-on-deck attitude.

·     Extremely self-motivated with a strong ability to organize, prioritize and manage others to meet revenue targets.

·     New business hunter mentality with competitive drive and upbeat attitude that is contagious across your sales team.

·     Excellent verbal, written, presentation and negotiation communication skills.

·     You have plenty of determination, passion, and drive to get the job done.
