Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead and scale our global Finance function during the next phase of company growth.
This role requires a hands-on finance leader who can strengthen financial foundations, improve business visibility, and position Finance as a strategic partner across the organization.
Key Focus Areas
Strengthen the Finance Foundation
- Ensure accurate accounting, reliable financial reporting, strong internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Improve cash flow visibility, financial governance, and scalable finance processes.
- Drive consistency across policies, reporting standards, and compliance frameworks.
Drive Business Performance
- Enhance forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and financial analysis.
- Improve visibility into business unit, product, channel, and geographic performance.
- Support decision-making around growth initiatives, profitability, investments, working capital, and M&A opportunities.
Build Financial Acumen Across the Business
- Partner with leadership teams to improve understanding of business economics and value creation.
- Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on long-term enterprise value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global Finance, including Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Reporting, Finance Operations, and Finance Systems.
- Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Develop forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and performance management capabilities.
- Partner with business leaders on strategic initiatives, pricing, profitability, capital allocation, and growth opportunities.
- Oversee external audits, tax compliance, lender reporting, and investor-related financial activities.
- Drive finance transformation through process improvements, automation, and systems optimization.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing international Finance team.
- Present financial performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, Board members, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven senior finance leadership experience within a complex international and multi-entity environment.
- Strong expertise across Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Controls.
- Demonstrated success in improving financial processes, systems, reporting, and business partnering capabilities.
- Experience developing forecasting models, scenario planning, unit economics, and performance management frameworks.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to turn financial data into business decisions.
- Experience working with executive teams, boards, investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, ACA, ACCA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, or similarly dynamic environments.
- Exposure to digital products, SaaS, subscriptions, publishing, licensing, distribution, or related industries.
- M&A experience, including financial modeling, due diligence, and integration activities.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar platforms.
- Background in finance automation, process optimization, and AI-enabled finance operations.
