Head of Sales & Strategic Partnerships


About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Head of Sales & Strategic Partnerships to lead revenue growth through a combination of direct sales execution and strategic partner development.

This role will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing sales organization while developing a strong ecosystem of distributors, resellers, value-added partners, and other indirect sales channels. The successful candidate will play a key role in acquiring new clients, strengthening market presence, and driving sustainable business growth.

The position requires a commercially minded leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, build strong relationships across the market, and create scalable revenue-generating partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Own and deliver revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain a predictable, scalable sales pipeline.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
  • Drive growth across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customer segments.
  • Support pricing optimization and go-to-market initiatives to maximize commercial performance.

Sales Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team.
  • Establish and optimize sales processes, KPIs, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Develop both outbound and inbound sales strategies to accelerate customer acquisition.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Design and execute a partner strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage key channel partners and distribution networks.
  • Develop new indirect sales opportunities through strategic alliances and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Structure and negotiate commercial agreements, including revenue-sharing, referral, distribution, and embedded-finance partnerships.
  • Ensure effective partner engagement, performance monitoring, and long-term relationship management.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic partnerships and indirect sales channels.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, payments, e-wallets, banking, SaaS, or technology-driven businesses.
  • International business development experience.
  • Existing network of industry partners and strategic contacts.
  • Experience launching new markets, products, or distribution channels.
