Trading Operations Lead / Risk Specialist — Crypto CEX Trading Platform

We are looking for a highly analytical Trading Operations Lead / Risk Specialist to join a fast-growing crypto CEX startup built within an established international product ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands how crypto exchanges operate internally and can become the “brain” behind trading operations, liquidity, and risk management.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Oversee trading operations, margin models, and risk-control processes within the CEX
• Monitor exchange stability, liquidity, and trading infrastructure
• Work with perpetuals, liquidation mechanics, and risk balancing
• Configure and optimize ADL (Auto-Deleveraging) mechanisms
• Manage leverage settings, funding logic, and liquidation behavior
• Analyze trading flows and user positions to minimize platform risks
• Work closely with liquidity providers and market-making processes
• Improve operational efficiency and trading reliability

What We’re Looking For

• Direct experience with crypto CEX exchanges is mandatory
• Strong understanding of:
• perpetual futures,
• leverage mechanics,
• liquidity management,
• liquidation systems,
• margin calculations,
• order books, bid/ask dynamics,
• market-making principles
• Understanding of how exchange risk engines operate internally
• Experience working with trading operations, dealing, or risk management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership
• Hands-on approach with deep operational involvement

Important Notes

• We are specifically looking for candidates with direct CEX/trading infrastructure experience
• Candidates from general web3/defi backgrounds without exchange operations expertise are unlikely to fit
• Understanding of trading psychology, risk balancing, and liquidation logic is critical
• The ideal candidate should understand not only how exchanges function externally, but also how trading systems work under the hood
