Head of Prepaid Cards (B2B Marketplace, Fintech)


We are looking for a hands-on operational leader to lead and scale our prepaid cards direction. This role is focused on execution - turning the founder’s vision into a structured, scalable business with strong processes, product ownership, and revenue growth.


About the Project

We are building a B2B marketplace for prepaid cards, crypto vouchers, and gift cards (white-label solutions via banks and API integrations).

This is not a zero-to-one startup. We already have:

  • Active B2B clients
  • Existing suppliers and infrastructure
  • Operational processes and team support
  • Revenue and market experience
  • Resources for scaling

Your Mission

You will take full ownership of the direction and build it into a scalable, profitable business.

Your core focus will be supply-side development — sourcing, onboarding, and managing providers of prepaid and top-up solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Supply & Partnerships (Primary Focus)

  • Source and onboard prepaid / top-up solution providers
  • Deliver consistent supplier growth and quality expansion
  • Negotiate commercial terms (margins, limits, risk exposure)
  • Build and manage a sustainable supplier network

Product & Integrations

  • Own product development (from business side)
  • Oversee API integrations (no coding required)
  • Align product with partner needs and use cases
  • Structure and package the product for multiple markets

Risk & Sustainability

  • Manage operational, financial, and reputational risks
  • Understand compliance and high-risk segment constraints
  • Ensure legal structure and tax efficiency
  • Maintain stability of the product line

Revenue & Growth

  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Identify new markets and niches
  • Work across both high-risk and low-risk segments

Clients & Service

  • Build a best-in-market service level
  • Improve retention and increase LTV
  • Ensure reliability and trust as key differentiators

Pricing Strategy

  • Maintain margin discipline (no dumping)
  • Position via stability, reliability, and service quality

Team Building

  • Hire and manage the team from scratch
  • Set clear goals and ensure delivery


Candidate Profile

We are looking for a practitioner with real execution experience, not a theoretical manager.

Must-have

  • 2+ years in fintech / payments / digital products
  • Strong experience with card products (critical requirement)
  • Understanding of how banking and card infrastructure works internally
  • Experience working with suppliers and partners
  • Negotiation and deal-closing skills
  • Experience managing people or external contractors
  • Ownership mindset: responsible for results, not process

Strong Plus

  • Experience in high-risk industries: iGaming, crypto, Forex
  • Knowledge of global banking ecosystems (China, Singapore, US, CIS, etc.)
  • Experience with prepaid solutions and compliance
  • Understanding of APIs and integrations
  • Use of AI tools in daily work
  • Experience in mid-size fintech environments

  • English — B2+
  • Russian — B2+
