Assembly Technician, Build and Process

The opportunity

Join Protec Group in a practical engineering assembly role offering scope to shape repeatable build processes and improve production quality.

What you will do

• Assemble engineered products and troubleshoot build issues
• Write clear assembly procedures and operator process controls
• Help specify, design and source suitable jigs and fixtures
• Train, guide and supervise apprentices in safe assembly methods

What we are looking for

• Hands on mechanical or engineering assembly background
• Ability to create straightforward, accurate build instructions
• Practical problem solving and attention to quality
• Basic CAD knowledge helpful, with confidence supporting apprentices
